A MONTH IN PICTURES- NOVEMBER 2012

November was the month of the pocket square! We released Dark Horses opposing black and white pocket squares and snapped Sir David Attenborough wearing our owl pocket! There was also flurry of artwork at Age of Reason HQ, with Ali working on final designs for AW13.

ALEXIS KNOX ROCKS AGE OF REASON

There are few things as poppy, as whizz- bang boom, and as downright colourful as celebrity stylist Alexis Knox's Tumbr. Recently she's been enjoying DJ-ing, styling uber model Viktoria Modesta to perfection, and wearing Age of Reason scarves. All fun at Knox HQ then! Her page reminds us of Vogue's current POP issue, which is also worth a look.

AGE OF REASON AT BOB

We are excited to have been selected to participate at Best of Britannia (BOB) in London. Oct 5th-7th.  The event takes place in the amazing Farmiloe building in Clerkenwell. http://www.bestofbritannia.com/

To celebrate we've created this natty scarf styling video.  All the scarves shown will be available to wholesale and retail customers over the 3 days.

Our model Tanja uses her creativity to style our Autumn Winter 2012 and permanent collection pieces. The owl scarves pictured were inspired by the UK's Brit punk heritage,  and were recently featured in Grazia.  They will also be available from our new stockist Wolf and Badger from November.

AUTUMN WINTER 2012 LAUNCHES WITH VIDEO FEAT. PIXIE LE KNOT

Our Autumn winter and permanent collections have launched online in style with the release of "Pretty Twisted" a film featuring top UK contortionist Pixie Le Knot.  Pixie, who is known for her appearance in  "The Devil Inside", effortlessly styles scarves whilst contorting her body into wild and wonderful positions.

Inspired by Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift, the film uses an instrumental version of the track "Boxing Day" by Dark Horses a UK band producing hauntingly powerful tracks voiced by Lisa Ella Jones. In the background two mysterious characters read from Swift's novel.

The film was shot at our HQ in Brighton by secretive director duo Azam, and director of photography Lester De Havilland. Zoe Hunter was responsible for the bold goth-punk hair and make up.
A beautiful "Making Of" film was shot by Salute HQ of Brighton.

AGE OF REASON AUTUMN WINTER 2012 SCARVES

Here's a sneak preview of our AW12 collection, due out very soon. Ali designed the collection in bright and berry tones to compliment the inky clothes and deep purples we're expecting to be wearing in AW12. Punk owls and roller-skates are just two of the treats in store. Each piece is on a limited run, so fans will need to get their skates on to bag on of these. In the meantime our SS12 sale continues. Don't miss out.

AW12 INSPIRATIONS

Age of Reason has been to the wild and windy city of Edinburgh
to seek inspiration for Autumn Winter 2012.
Here are some of the sights we saw.

We love the untamed magical quality of Edinburgh
Whilst in the city we came across the fabulous Fifi Wilson boutique in Bruntsfield.
This is a must for luxury fashion in Scotland.
